That's a wrap in Pre-K 1
Our last two days together were fun-filled. On Tuesday, we celebrated the children with summer birthdays. Yesterday, we celebrated our last day of school with popsicles. Lots of celebrations, and this will continue tonight with Graduation!
We read Oh, The Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss & Chicka, Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr.
Discovery: Popular Five Senses Game was back!
Math Table: Pegboards and colorful pegs
Art Easel: Hot Air Balloons....question was where would you go?
Project Table: For the last day of school we did not use the planning chart as a treat and this table was packed! The crafts were a flip flop to decorate...children designed their flip flop and then thread pipe cleaner through the holes to make the strap. Chicka, Chicka Boom Boom craft. The children created their own tree and then stamped the letters of their name. Next, they counted the letters in their name and wrote it down. And finally, the children wrote their names on a special project they made for Father's Day (it was tucked in their gift bag).
I can't believe this is it! It was a year filled with uncertainty but one constant was your wonderful children. They played, learned and grew so much. I thank you very much for sharing your children with me this school year!
