Last Week of 2020 in Mixed Age

Hello Mixed Age Families,

This week has flown by and its hard to believe that we are our Holiday break!! We had lots to do and things to get done. They enjoyed all the activities and did a super job cleaning up the centers when they were done playing there.

Thank you all for my wonderful gifts and cards, it was very thoughtful of you!!!

Here is what we did at the centers this week.

Math Table~ Little wooden blocks and animal counters. Lots of sorting by colors and animals.

Discovery~ An assortment of Holiday items with magnifying glasses. They enjoyed walking around the class with the magnifying glasses checking out all the things they could see.

Art/Writing~ Decorating their gifts bags, dot painting, holiday stickers and Jingle Bell necklaces. This was a very busy place all week and today they put together their reindeer food!!

Easel~ Water color painting

Listening Center~ Goodbye Autumn Hello Winter By Kenard Pak

Books:

There was an Old Lady who swallowed a Bell

Corduroy's Christmas

Santa's New Suit

Music:

Freeze Dance

Bear Hunt

Wiggling Dance

Jingle Bell Rock while we rang jingle bells

Letter H is our show and tell when we come back from break. I will try to remember to send a reminder email before we all come back.

I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday Season!!! I will miss you all very much!!

Warm Regards,

Julie Haynes
