Ending January in Pre-K 1
Hi Everyone, We had a good week in our classroom. The children have been working together on the rug at Center Time building wonderful things...buildings, spaceships, fences, houses, garages and games to use with marbles. It is so nice to hear their great ideas as they create. Our Reading Street Book this week was Close Your Eyes by Kate Banks. "The little tiger lay on his back in the tall grass. Ending January in Mixed Age
Hello Mixed Age Families, Our last full week of January was very busy and productive. Everyone has enjoyed the centers this month and we think next month will be the same. I have enjoyed having our indoor recess time running through the obstacle course and dancing to the fun music "DJ Fyrberg" has been choosing. The kids practiced writing the number 11 this morning since we had 11 friends at school. Looking ahead to Valentines Day: We will be having the kids pass out Valenti

Ending January in the 3's!

He likes hearing the creaking sound his feet make in the snow, making tracks, snowmen, and snow angels. If you haven't read it,

Believe it or not- VALENTINE'S DAY is coming! A few things I want to touch on early to avoid any confusion in the upcoming weeks. 1. The kids are welcome to bring in Valentine's cards to share with their classmates. PLEASE NO CANDY! Also, because of the time it takes to hand out cards, pl

A Fun Week in Pre-K 2!
Hello Pre K Families, It was a short week, with the Monday holiday, but we managed to squeeze a lot in! This is what went on in the centers this week! Dramatic Play- The Pet Care center is still a very busy center! Playdough- The children love making snowmen with the white glitter play dough, adding a hat, eyes, carrot nose and scarf. Art Easel-“Stained glass” chalk drawings. We sectioned pieces of paper using painters tape, the children colored each section and then removed
