Out in the Snow in Older Preschool!

Hello Families,
How in the world is it almost February?! We had another super fun week in Older Preschool. The kids enjoyed playing outside in the snow everyday! For the foreseeable future, all children must come to school each day with FULL snow gear (snow pants, boots, hat, waterproof mittens and warm coat). Even if we are unable to go outside on certain days, New England weather changes very quickly, and we want every child to be prepared whenever outdoor play is possible.
Additionally, we ask that snow gear be sent back DRY the following day, as putting on cold, wet mittens, snow pants or boots is no fun for anyone!
With the approaching storm, this is also a reminder that if Attleboro Public Schools are closed, Jack and Jill Preschool will also be closed. No email will be sent in the event of a weather closure, but a message will be posted on our school Facebook page!
Our next Letter of the Week for Show & Tell is O! As a reminder we are only doing Show and Tell on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If your child is out for any reason on either of those days, we will allow them to bring their item on the day that they return back to school!
Here is a look at our week....
Art: snowman sun catchers and bead snowflakes
Easel: night scene with cookie cutter stars and bingo dot snowflakes
Math: shapes
Discovery: life cycle of a snowflake
Writing: name tracing and "n" is for nest and "n" tracing
Listening: William's Winter Nap
Books
Night Night Groot
The Hat
Snowball Moon
Have a great weekend! Stay safe! GO PATS!
