March in Action in Older Preschool!

Hello families,

Fingers crossed the snow is behind us and warmer weather is on the horizon! We had another fun week in Older Preschool! Our next Letter of the Week for Show and Tell is R. Please continue to send in snow gear everyday which must include snow boots, snow pants, mittens, a hat and a coat. Fancy Day VS. Pajama Day is on Thursday March 12th. As always these spirit days are completely optional. 

Here is a look at our centers...

Art: Thing 1 & Thing 2 (blue hair using forks), Truffula Trees, Lorax Mustaches and Put Me In The Zoo Animal (using bingo dots)

Easel: variety of Dr. Seuss coloring pages

Math: How many red cups can you stack to make Cat in the Hat?

Discovery: Lock and Keys and Match the Faces

Writing: Letter Q worksheets 

Sensory Table: variety of art supplies (tubes, tissue paper, stickers, scissors, construction paper and pipe cleaners) for the kids to create anything

Play-Doh: gold with coins and shamrock-shaped cookie cutters 

Dramatic Play: Grocery Store 

Listening Center: Count the Monkeys

Books

-Put Me In The Zoo

As a reminder Jack and Jill's Spaghetti Supper is scheduled for  Friday March 20th. This is ALWAYS a fun night out for the whole family!
