November Memories in Enrichment!

Hi everyone,

This is the last full week of Enrichment in November, but we still have plenty of fun in store!

11/22- Friendship feast- Children make snacks for each other in class and all the school shares a "meal" in Fellowship Hall upstairs.

11/23- No School

11/28- No School- Conferences AM and PM

11/29- We start Drama Kids enrichment

11/30- Shirts with Words Day

Our Thankful Tree added three new leaves this week! The picture is attached. This week the children voted that they are thankful for Animals, Unicorns, and Their Houses.

Please forgive the lack of pictures. We were so busy during center time, that we didn't get a chance to take them!

What was NEW in Centers?

Art- The children finished their hats for the friendship feast by gluing acorns from their friends onto their own handprint tree. They also had the opportunity to color in some special placemats that they'll be bringing home next week.

Easel- We used watercolors to paint a person. The people were cut out, laced together, and our "Friendship chain" now hangs in our window.

Math- Using numbered "feathers" (clothespins) the children clipped the feathers to the matching number turkey.
