All About Love in Enrichment!

Hi all!

First, we want to thank you all for the thoughtful cards and gifts we received for Valentine's Day. We enjoyed hearing about the people and things your children love, and talked about different ways they can show their love! It was a lovely conversation.

On Monday, Mr. G read us Pete the Cat and the Cool Cat Boogie by James and Kimberly Dean. Pete learned that having fun while dancing matters a whole lot more than getting the steps right!

Wednesday was full of love! We started with our dance where we danced our hearts out and did the limbo.

We had a visit from Mrs. T today! We danced and sang, and listened to stories. It was a lot of fun!

Today we read Friends by Daniela Sosa. It was all about the different kinds of friends that we can have.

What was NEW in centers this week?

Art- We decorated snowmen with our names!

Easel- We painted with celery, so that it looked like a flower!

Math- Valentine's count the room- The children looked around the room to find the hidden Valentine pictures. When they found and counted the pictures they traced the number that was on a sheet to correspond with the hidden pictures.

This is a reminder that there is no school next week. We hope you all have a happy and healthy week, and we'll see you on the 26th!

Warmly,

Julie Haynes and Christina Renoni
