Celebrating Valentine's Day in the 3's!

Hi all!

We love to love at Jack and Jill, and what better time to celebrate that than around Valentine's Day?

REMINDER: Jack and Jill is closed for the week, and will reopen again on Monday the 27th.

Our littlest learners had a visit from Mrs. G today, where read us a story about Cowboy Joe, and we got to help him practice his "cowboy call". Yeehaw! We also learned and sang a song where we got to play with and give hugs to some stuffed animals!

What was NEW in centers this week?

Art- Marble painting- The children painted hearts by rolling marbles through paint! Lots of fun and great coordination practice!

Easel- Watercolor painting- Free art with different mediums lets their little imaginations run wild and their fine motor skills to follow right behind!

Block area- A road rug, cars, trucks, and buildings made for a lot of fun and lots of time to practice playing together!

Writing table- We practiced drawing hearts, and colored valentines for friends and family.

We also spent as much time as we could outside yesterday! Riding bikes, drawing with chalk, going down the slide more times than we could count... could it get any better?

We want to wish you all a great weekend, and a wonderful week next week!

As always, if you have any questions, please don't be afraid to reach out!

Love,

Christina Renoni and Ashlee Taylor
