Oh the Wonderful Things We Did in Older Preschool!

Hello Families,

We had another fun week in Older Preschool! We want to welcome our new friend Hailey and her family to our class! We are very excited to have her join us! Our M/W/F group got a visit from a dental hygienist at Attleboro Pediatric Dental. It was a lot of fun! The weather was a bit colder this week so please make sure your child has a jacket everyday! If your child wants to bring mittens and a hat, please put them in the sleeve of the jacket as it makes it easier for us to locate them. Our next letter for Show and Tell is D! Please have your child bring in the object when they enter the classroom in the morning.

Here is a look at our centers this week:

Art: Painted a tooth with puffy paint (glue, shaving cream & glitter) and a mouth full of teeth (pink mouth shaped paper and glued on white squares for teeth)

Easel: water paint dentist themed coloring sheets

Math: Fall patterns

Discovery: Microscopes with a bunch of different slides for the kids to examine

Writing Table: "C" in corn and alphabet acorns

Playdough: orange with a variety of Halloween cookie cutters

Listening Center: Click Clack Boo!

Sensory Table: Halloween

Pretend Center: Babies

-We always have puzzles, writing boards, blocks and fidgets available during center time as well
