Warm Weather and Melting Snow in Older Preschool!

Good Evening Families,

The snow has finally melted on the playground and we spent some extra time outside enjoying the nicer weather this week. We do not need snow bags anymore. Please just send a coat, hat and mittens. We have noticed that some friends have been eating their 2 snacks and asking for more, and some friend's snacks are not what they want, and they are asking for something different all together. We ask you to check in with your children and see if they want you to pack more/different things. We don't mind giving out the school snacks but we are running low. Please check your family mailboxes and look out for the spaghetti supper raffle basket forms. Even if you cannot attend the dinner you can still enter to win some awesome prizes!

Letter of the Week will be: S

We have been spending more time lately reinforcing kindness, respectful communication, and the use of manners in our classroom. We are encouraging everyone to treat their classmates with care, speak respectfully to teachers, and practice using polite words such as "please" and "thank you". We have been reading books and having classroom discussions to help gain these skills. Continued support at home with these expectations will be very helpful, thank you! (:

The books we read this week were: The Thank you Book, I'll Wait Mr. Panda, and Best Behavior.
