Week of January 19th in Enrichment

Hi everyone!

This was a quick, but busy week in Enrichment. The children packed a lot of stuff into the two days, including seeing a few snowflakes fly during our time on the playground today!

I apologize for not sending home the C worksheet this week! I'll be sure to put them in their mailboxes to bring home on Monday!

Ms. Katy taught us a sun salutation during yoga this week! We hope the sheets she sends home each week help your little yogis bring home what they learned during our time with her!

Our letter of the week this week was C. The kids are continuing to look around in school for the letter, and I hear some of them are carrying this over to home too! This is fantastic! I'm so proud of our little learners!

Our book this week was Crow in the Snow By Lesley Sims. A crow notices some different things on his path through the woods. When he gets to the lake with all his friends skating on it, he hears it cracking! He flies back to the path to gather a scarf and sled he saw along his way to help Mole, who has fallen in the ice. When everyone is safe and warm, the toasted Crow for all he did to help his friends.

What was new in centers this week was...

Yellow bins- Number matching snowmen

Blue Bin- Dot marker C cat

Art- Cottonball Snowflake

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and if it's not too late, head on over to Bliss Dairy for our fundraiser tonight. It's going on until they close tonight, and applies to dine in, take out, and delivery orders! Be sure to mention Jack and Jill at check out, or in the special notes if ordering online!

Warmly,

Christina Renoni
