Another Awesome Week in Enrichment!
Happy Wednesday Enrichment Families! We were busy this week! On Tuesday we welcomed Sensei Michael back to the classroom. The children were VERY excited and they did an excellent job playing games that required them to be good listeners. We are so happy to have him back for the next 6 weeks.
Reminder: Next week is April break. We look forward to seeing your little ones on Monday, April 25th.
Classroom Wishlist: Clorox wipes :)
This week at MORNING MEETING, we read Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes by James Dean and Kimberly Dean. Pete and his friend Gus made cupcakes for the cupcake party, but they kept disappearing! Ask your child about the clues they found on each page and who was stealing the cupcakes. We also played played with a big parachute!
Here's what's NEW at CENTERS:
Block Area: potato heads
Art Easel: painting daffodils and tulips
Art Table: cupcake collages and coloring papers
Math Table: visual discrimination block game, counting puzzles, number sequence puzzles
Discovery Table: The table is LAVA! The kiddos used plastic cups, popsicle sticks and paint stirring sticks to make a structure to keep all the bears off the lava. We have some great engineers in our class. Below there are a couple pictures of their creations.
We hope you have a fun spring break!
Sincerely,
Brenda & Christina
