Moving Through March in Mixed Age!

Hello Mixed Age Families,

I hope this email finds you all well and ready for the weekend, hopefully the weather is good this weekend and moving forward to next week. The week went by fast and hard to believe March is half way through. The conference sign up email went out today and they are being scheduled for March 28, make sure you sign up.

Here is what we did this week:

Math Table~ St. Patrick"s Day shape hats.

Discovery Table~ On Monday the kids used baking soda, food coloring and vinegar to make fizzy pots. The rest of the week they had geo boards that they loved, stretching the elastics on the board was a hit and they loved making shapes with them.

Art/Writing Table~ Leprechaun Lookers -AKA binoculars, made out of paper tubes and decorated with the different items. They started their Goth Glue project, pictures to come next week. They also had free art and some of them did lots of cutting this week.

Easel~ Big paper with rulers and shape stencils to trace.

Music: Books:

Animal Action A book about Motion

Tutti Ta Go, Dog Go

Listen & Move Penguin says, Please

Thunder Peppa Loves St. Patricks's Day

Classroom Visitors:

Mrs. T came and sang the book Pete the Cat loves his white shoes and sang some St. Patrick's Day songs and even played a harmonica. She is so talented!!

Mr. G came in and read during snack Tim and read Pete the Cat St. Patrick's Day

Our show and tell on Monday will be something that starts with the first letter of their name. Please have your child bring in 1 item on Monday when they came into the classroom at the beginning of our day. Thank you!

Regards.

Julie Haynes & Katy Fyrberg
