Hello March in the 3's!

Good afternoon everyone!

It was wonderful to see everyone again after break! And it seemed like the kids were just as excited to be back as were to have them back!

Thursday was Dr. Seuss's birthday, so we celebrated by reading two of his books this week. Thursday we read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and today we read the inspiration for our spirit day, Mr. Brown Can Moo. Can You? With lots of rhyming, counting, and funny sounds to make everyone had lots of fun!

What was NEW in centers?

Art- We painted and sprinkled glitter on shamrocks which are hanging on our bulletin board in the hallway.

Easel- The children used watercolors to paint a rainbow

Math- We tried to make Cat in the Hat's hat as high as possible by stacking mini red cups and white card stock.

Discovery- We used "magic" (magnetic) wands to help lift the metal objects in bottles.

These things along with our pretend center, block area, writing table, sensory table, and playdough were lots of fun!

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and we'll see you next Thursday. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Warmly,

Christina Renoni and Ashlee Taylor
