Moving in March in 4 Day Pre-K!

Hello Families!

We all had a BLAST this week talking about all things "Dr. Seuss"! We did some fun crafts, math activities, building Dr. Seuss hats and listening to the funny books he wrote. We were able to get outside a few days when it was dry enough and the other days we took advantage of the indoor obstacle course! The kids always love when we get to do that! Reminder: NO SCHOOL on Monday March 11th!

At the Art Center the kids got the opportunity to make Lorax mustaches, Truffula Trees and Horton Hears A Who handprints. We also had a variety of coloring pages for them to use as well. Some even brought them to the easel and painted!

At the Math Center the kids had to count how many fish were needed for each bowl. This was inspired by "1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish".

At the Discovery Center we had a bunch of red solo cups and white construction paper. The kids got to stack them up to resemble Cat in the Hats famous red and white hat. A few of the kids even created some amazing structures with the cups!

Sensory Table was transformed into all things Saint Patrick's Day. There was gold coins, green string, rainbows and 4 leaf clovers.

Dramatic Play was made into a Doctors office. We also brought out the pretend babies for them to use as patients as well.

Play-Doh had some new tools added to it for the kids to try out. We also made a new play-doh that was white with glitter! This was a huge hit!
