A Week Before Vacation in Mixed Age!
Hello Mixed Families,
Well here we are at the start of our February Vacation, theses months are flying by so quickly. This was a busy week and the kids had a good time passing out their Valentine treats for their classmates on Monday. We loved all the boxes that everyone made. Here is what we did in the classroom this week.
Math Table~ !-10 Number Hunt. Hunts around the classroom are always a fun activity to do, they were helping each other out and working together to find all of the numbers.
Discovery~ Animal and wooden pieces. On Wednesday we did a Cloud activity with water, shaving cream and food coloring. They enjoyed using the dropper to put a little food coloring on top of the shaving cream and having it rain through the "cloud" into the water.
Easel~ Water coloring valentines pictures
Art Table~ Heart cookie cutter painting using red paint and they made clouds using white paint onto blue paper.
Sensory Table~ We still have paper scraps, scissors and hole punchers.
Pretend~ We had lots of birthday's being celebrated this week in our classroom.
