It's November in 4 Day Pre-K!

Hello Families!

I apologize for the delayed email regarding our week here in Pre-K 2! The kids had a blast doing some Halloween activities and listening to a guest reader. Someone from the Attleboro Public Library came and talked to us about etiquette for the library and the different jobs that librarians have. We also got to enjoy a story about dinosaurs. The kids all did an excellent job listening to her. They are all doing a great job as well with our letter of the week (this week is letter C!)

In our Math Center last week we had cards with an different amount of spiders and they had to figure them out. We also had pumpkin 10 frames for them to explore as well.

In our Art Center last week we made ripped paper trees and a lot of Halloween art that is still hanging up in the hallway. We made some spider webs and handprint witches. At the Easel we had "U" coloring sheets and "Fall" activity pages for them to use with markers.

Discovery Center last week was alot of fun! We had little jars full of different scents and the kids had to smell each one and figure out what was inside!

At the Writing Table we had a bunch of "U" worksheets for them to practice our letter of the week. We also had booklets over there for them to make that included some different "U" words.

This was our last week for Dinner & A Movie at the Dramatic Play Center! We got to experience a lot of puppet shows and yummy food while watching the shows. This was also our last week for our Halloween theme sensory table which is always a huge hit because they love exploring what's inside.

Please remember to always send in a COAT,HAT and MITTENS everyday because it is getting cold out and we still will be going outdoors. Tomorrow is 80's Day and I can't wait to see you all dressed in your 80's best! Have a great week!
