Good Evening Families,
And just like that it is JANUARY, we can't believe it! Happy New Year to you all! We had a great first week back after break. It is completely normal for children to need some extra time to adjust after coming back from a long break but we are easing back into our routine quite nicely as we review classroom expectations. Thank you to Maria for helping us in the classroom this week, we all loved having you! If you are interested in/or have already signed up to volunteer make sure you schedule your orientation with Mrs. Lay before you come into the classroom.

Show and Tell Update: Tuesday & Wednesday only.
In case you missed the pink paper sent home, here is the information:
To help us make the most of our learning time each day, we will be making a small adjustment to our Show & Tell schedule.
Tuesday/Thursday classes: Show & Tell will take place on Tuesdays only
Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes: Show & Tell will take place on Wednesdays only. Children who attend 5 days a week may bring Show & Tell on either Tuesday or Wednesday, but only one day per week.
We have found that Show & Tell has begun to take up a significant portion of our day when items are brought in daily. Limiting it to these designated days will allow us to keep this special activity meaningful while still protecting time for learning, play, and routines.
If your child is absent on their assigned Show & Tell day, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher to discuss options.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support! If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to reach out. Enjoy the rest of your weekend
Sincerely,
Mrs. Derbyshire & Mrs. Deighan
