Saying Good Bye to March in the 3's!

Hi everyone!

The cold and rain didn't keep US down this week! The 3's class ended our week with a parade up and down the hallway at Jack and Jill!

Our book this week was Play This Book by Jessica Young and Daniel Wiseman. We "played" different instruments in a band along with the characters in the book. 

What was NEW in centers this week?

Art- We made our very own kazoos and egg shakers, and used them for our parade!

Easel- The children painted music pages with watercolors. Watercolors are always a big hit with this class!

Math- We used magic (magnetic) wands to move the metal objects inside bottles.

Discovery- We played a sound matching game, where the children shook boxes with different things in them to match the two boxes with the same sound.

These things, along with the block area, pretend center, writing table, and sensory table make for lots of fun with our friends!
