Sweet September in Mixed Age!
Hello Mixed Age Families,
Our 3rd week of school is in the books, everyone has settled in nicely and really beginning to enjoy each other. They have been very busy at the centers this week and they are all doing a super job checking themselves in each morning when they enter the classroom.
With the upcoming month we have some wish list items that we need for our classroom. If anyone would like to help us out that would be great! We need Popsicle sticks, paper plates, clothespins and white coffee filters. Thank you in advance
Here is what we had at the centers this week:
Math Table: Colored trees and pompom sorting
Discovery Table: Small plastic animals and wooden builders and popsicle sticks
Easel: Painting yellow and green apples and today they used ink pads to do duplo block stamping
Art/Writing Table: Finger painting on paper plates to make apples and tracing their hand to make a leaf. They also did dot painting & free art. We have a lot of little artists in our classroom and they LOVE to get messy!
Puzzles & Games Table: Interactive globe and Who lives where? matching cards.
Books:
Gray Rabbits 123
A Pocket full of kisses
