The Final Week of May in Enrichment
Hi all!
How is it the end of May already?!?! The sun is out, and the kids are excited and ready for summer! The kids have been "making plans to go to each other's houses" I remind them that those are plans that adults need to make. But on that note, I was wondering who would be comfortable sharing their email address? PLEASE RESPOND EITHER WAY! Once I hear from one person from each family, I'll send out an email to those willing to share with everyone else. Now that restrictions are being lifted, the little ones can feel it and are itching to socialize! Aren't we all!! Thanks.
Our books this week were plentiful! We read My "s" Sound Box by Jane Belk Moncure. It was about a boy named "Little S" who had a special box for all the S words he could find. From shoes, socks, and a shirt, to a shark in a sack, a sand castle, and a slide. There is a book like this for each letter of the alphabet, if you're interested. We also read Watch Me Throw The Ball!, Can I Play Too?, and I Love My New Toy!, all Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems. These books are always a lot of fun!
What was new in centers this week?
