A Week Full of Luck in Mixed Age

Hello Mixed Age Families,

We are half way through March........time is going by so quickly!! I am looking forward to the nice weather and spending time outside. Everyone had a good week and enjoyed playing at the centers and with each other.

Here is what we had out at the centers:

Math Table~ Numbered 1-10 pot of gold and coins

Discovery Table~ Sensory gloves. Rubber gloves filled with either pompoms, dried beans, sand, feathers or rice.

Art Table~ Painting shamrocks and then using baking soda and vinegar to make a bubbling reaction. They also had Leprechaun pictures, shamrocks stickers and plain paper to use.

Easel~ Painting with green peppers cut in half. This was very messy and we had green paint everywhere :)

Listening Center~ Pete the Cat Rocking my School Shoes

At the block and puzzles and games rug we now have dinosaurs and wooden tree pieces. They kids really enjoyed having them to use and we even had to set the timer to make sure everyone had a turn that wanted a turn. The block rug in general is a popular place as they all love to build with the wooden blocks and play with the matchbox cars.
