Happy Thanksgiving from Mixed Age!
Hello Mixed Age Families,
This was such a busy 2 days of school. The kids had a great time at our Friendship Feast and performing for the other classes. Mrs. Lehane read Pete the Cat The First Thanksgiving before each class performed their song. It was a fun day! I will be sending along the video from today in another email.
Here is what we did in the classroom:
Math Table~ Numbered 1-10 cherry pies with whip cream (aka; makeup cotton rounds)
Discovery~ Animals and wood building pieces
Art/Writing: Turkey crown finishing touches, necklace making and Thankful info sheets. There was also an assortment of paper, stamps, and stickers for the kids to use.
Easel~ What paper, crayons and stickers.
Play dough~ We put away the play dough and had shaving cream at the center along with some little animals for them to use.
Activity Board~ Dry erase markers. They enjoyed making self portraits.
Book:
The Bears and the Great Big Storm By Paul Bright
Music:
Freeze Dance
Letter H is our show and tell nest week. Please bring nto the classroom 1 item on Monday morning that starts with the letter H.
We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
