Saying Goodbye to March in Pre-K 2!
Good afternoon Pre-K 2 families,
A quick email update after a quick and busy week! The kiddos had a blast at their Sleep Under Party with Panda and Sally Squirrel. Check out the pictures of the habitat that they made for her.
This week at MORNING MEETING:
Stories: "Polar Bear, Polar Bear What Do You Hear?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle
Seeds of STEM: We spent a lot of time planning for Sally’s arrival.
Skills: created “ABAB” patterns with colored mats, practiced oral language skills while playing the Monster Game
Here's what's happening at CENTERS:
Art- Spring egg collages, decorations for Sally and Polar Bear, Polar Bear watercolor painting at the easel
Blocks-wood blocks, cars, garage, dollhouse and dolls
Dramatic Play- Habitat Building with recycled materials
Writing/Library- books about spring, rainbow coloring pages, paper, rainbow paint samples, paper punchers, stamping markers
Playdough: green playdough, rainbow pipe cleaners, erasers, cutters, rollers
Math Table- counting with dice and carrot pop-its
Science- kinetic sand and plastic eggs
Sensory Table- plastic grass, plastic eggs, little chicks
